Respite Service
This is a short-term program that offers assistance to families in a crisis who have no other respite services in place. Respite Service is an in-home service provided to families who are caring for a special needs child. This allows the parents “time out” to take care of personal needs, shop, visit with friends and spend quality time with the other children. Qualified staff are provided to care for the special needs child according to their medical needs. Care can also be provided for the brothers and sisters if desired.
Some services include:
- Post-operative assistance in-home
- Palliative care and family respite
- Parents struggling with their own medical issues
