Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy monitors and helps the development of movement skills like rolling, sitting, standing and walking. This is done through exercises and activities used to develop strength, stretch tight muscles, gain
endurance and help movement, balance, co-ordination and fitness.
Our Physiotherapists and Physiotherapist Assistants use special equipment such as therapy balls and rolls,
free weights, exercise equipment, parallel bars, walkers and standers. Physiotherapists also provide prescriptions for aids to support movement like standers, walkers, crutches and special positioning equipment.
Services are provided at no-cost for in centre, outreach or consultations and serve children from 0-18 years of age.
Moving for Learning
Moving for Learning is a physiotherapy program that helps development through play and movement. Brochures, presentations and consultations are available for caregivers, parents and children from 0-6 years of age. This is a Best Start program.
