Occupational Therapy

Everyone has an occupation or job. In early childhood, self help, getting ready for school and play abilities are the primary jobs for children. Occupational Therapists (OT’s) evaluate how a child is functioning or able to accomplish daily life roles or routines known as activities of daily living. Occupational Therapists help children be as independent as possible.

OT’s are involved is specialty services such as feeding, seating, wheelchair and equipment prescription, home accessibility, written communication, consultation for augmentative communication and splinting.
