Referrals
Doctor referral is one way to receive treatment from the Children’s Treatment Centre. You may also self refer your child for services by calling the Children’s Treatment Centre directly. After being admitted as a client, the Children’s Treatment Centre therapists can make a referral to a different treatment team.
For example, if the occupational therapist thinks speech therapy may be needed, the occupational therapist will make a referral to have a speech-language pathology assessment completed. Adults may refer themselves for hearing services.
